GRAND SALVO WITH 10 PIECE ENSEMBLE

Celebrating 21 years as Grand Salvo, beloved Melbourne composer Paddy Mann has released seven brilliant albums, all lush with allegory and ornate, heavily orchestrated baroque-folk. In a rare performances with his 10-piece ensemble of Melbourne’s finest musicians, Grand Salvo will share treasures from his exquisitely simple and moving story-songs of his early work, all the way through to his latest masterpiece Sea Glass (Mistletone Records, 2018); an epic rumination on memory, loss, the passing of time and death, which was shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize. When naming Sea Glass Album of the Week, Triple R marvelled at Grand Salvo’s ability 'to transport listeners, with atmospheric arrangements, detailed compositions, and immersive stories.'

Doors open 7pm, Grand Salvo onstage 8pm, DJ Voyage of the Dawn Treader before and after the performance.
