For two nights only, Shaynna Blaze invites you into the inner sanctum, sharing the twists and turns she's navigated that have defined her both personally and professionally.

“Life can throw you some pretty hard – and sometimes shitty – curve balls, but what comes with those is lessons," says Shaynna. "Your willingness to embrace those lessons is what allows you to define yourself, your life, your purpose and how you interact with the world, 'no permission' required from anyone else!"

Weaving together song and spoken word, this live performance reveals Shaynna at her vulnerable best; with the raw honesty, candour, power and inspiration audiences have been falling in love with since she first hit our screens nearly 20 years ago.

Featuring original music taken from Shaynna’s 2024 EP 'Taking Back My Joy,' which she co-wrote with Gary Pinto, and other familiar favourites, No Permission is co-scripted with star of stage, screen and theatre, Martin Crewes (Wizard of Oz, Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Dear Evan Hanson), directed by actress and singer Michala Banas (Always Greener, McLeod's Daughters) and scored by musical director Johannes Luebbers.
