BARBARA AND THE CAMP DOGS

So, they head out on a wrenching road trip to reconnect with their family. Ursula Yovich (Heart is a Wasteland) and Elaine Crombie (Blaque Showgirls) mesmerise with their unforgettable power ballads in this smash-hit show.

COMMON GROUND
13 – 17 Mar 2019

A ritualistic battleground; a choreographic game of chess. Ingrained rules are upturned by unexpected moves—intricate gambits, sacrifices and reactive attacks. Evoking the birth of ballet in a modern milieu, Common Ground is a unique duel that lights the fuse on equality and betrayal. Chunky Move recommends participating in the COMMON GROUND EXPERIENCE in conjunction with seeing the show. Book tickets here.

Contains full nudity. Recommended for audiences aged 18+.
Book before 19 February 2019 (Term 1).

WAKE IN FRIGHT
21 Jun – 14 Jul 2019

Is there something sinister lurking in the outback town of Bundanyabba? Under the direction of Declan Greene (Melancholia) and an evocative solo performance from Zahra Newman (The Book of Mormon), Kenneth Cook’s iconic work of Australian Gothic horror is conjured on stage.

Recommended for audiences aged 13+.
Book before 7 Jun 2019 (Term 1).

SOLARIS
28 Jun – 21 Jul 2019

On the other side of the galaxy, an uninhabitable world is possessed by a powerful intelligence. A crew of scientists are lost and cannot escape their past, could the planet itself be to blame? In a world premiere, Matthew Lutton and David Greig bring Stanisław Lem’s sci-fi thriller to life on stage.

Recommended for audiences aged 15+.
Book before 7 Jun 2019 (Term 1).

AUSTRALIAN REALNESS
16 Aug – 8 Sep 2019

A bogan and bourgeois battle for a suburban backyard during a raucous Aussie family Christmas. Playwright Zoey Dawson fast-forwards from the dawn of the Howard era to revel in the shattering of expectations and artificial class divisions in this incisive satire.

Recommended for audiences aged 15+.
Book before 26 Jul 2019 (Term 2).

BLACKIE BLACKIE BROWN: THE TRADITIONAL OWNER OF DEATH
19 Aug – 8 Sep 2019

This hilarious arse-kicking comic-book superhero returns. She’s raining down vengeance again, so every descendant of the men who killed her ancestors is doomed. Don’t miss Australia’s leading lady of live-action Blaxploitation animation for one more strictly limited season.

Recommended for audiences aged 15+.
Book before 8 Aug 2019 (Term 2).
