After getting stranded in regional Victoria without medication for the first time in twelve years, Scout Boxall has to pull out all the psychological stops to survive one of the worst nights of their life.

During their harrowing mental marathon through manic withdrawal, Scout imagines life in the middle ages, trawls the strangest crevices of the Internet and (briefly) finds God.
