One Night Stand is an intimate evening of insightful, funny and engaging conversations with author and cancer survivor, Patrice Capogreco and friends.
After a shocking cancer diagnosis in 2021, Patrice realises she will survive—but questions if her sex life will?
A single Mum wanting to enjoy an active dating life, Patrice celebrates the ups and downs of navigating sex, dating and intimacy before, during and after cancer treatment.
Bringing her eye-opening stories to Malthouse Outdoor Stage, she'll grace the stage with this in-conversation event hosted by Namila Benson (ABCTV) and alongside special musical guests Nkechi Anele, Jim Lawrie, Vika and Linda, Kutcha Edwards, and Cash Savage.
Through it all, is one question: When you have cancer, can you still have sex?
Filled with honesty, humour, vulnerability and joy, join Patrice and friends as they break taboos to talk all things cancer, friendships, love, sex and dating.
ABOUT MOS
Malthouse Outdoor Stage is a general admission venue with standing areas and seating available at shared tables. We recommend arriving early to find a space that’s right for you. The Malthouse Bar is open before and during the show, and food is available from The Malthouse Cafe.
We perform in all weather conditions, so long as it's safe for the performers and for you. Melbourne's weather can change all the time—we recommend bringing a raincoat, wearing waterproof shoes, and bringing a small umbrella just in case. In the event that the performance is cancelled, we will contact you to inform you the next steps. Please note the seating area is not covered.

The Malthouse Outdoor Stage main auditorium is accessible via flat entry and is suitable for wheelchair and mobility device users. The sunken front of stage area called the ‘pit’ is accessed via three stairs only and is not suitable for wheelchair or mobility device users. Accessible toilets are located within The Malthouse and can be accessed via flat floors. For more detailed accessibility information see here.
