A short descent into measured madness but in a truly artistic way... stirs your imagination and pushes deep emotional buttons and while it amazingly frames, even elevates the source material that informs it.

NOSFERATU WITH AN ORIGINAL LIVE SCORE BY THE ANG FANG QUARTET

F.W. Murnau
's timeless 1922 horror masterpiece,
Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror, is widely regarded to be the first and best vampire film ever made. Nosferatu will be screened with an original score, performed live by The Ang Fang Quartet. Vibraphone, cello, guitars, percussion and ghostly distortions intertwine to create an eerie, provocative soundscape for this darkly Gothic movie.

The Ang Fang Quartet are celebrating their 25th anniversary, with this rare, one-off live show, featuring the founding members of the group performing together for the first time in many years. Allow the ghostly flickering of Murnau's vampire story to leap at you from the screen, with an unforgettable score by one of Melbourne's most original musical ensembles. This is the way Nosferatu should be experienced. Bring someone to hold onto.

All tracks composed by Paul Gillett and the Ang Fang Quartet.
