Cloudstreet Giving Circle

Help us make history

Malthouse Theatre takes its passion for reinventing Australian classic literature to its zenith with Cloudstreet, bringing together a large audience for a spectacular event. The production is divided into three parts which last five hours, where audiences share dinner together from the shop at number one Cloud Street.

The cast is significantly larger than anything previously produced by Malthouse Theatre. Featuring 12 actors, including a team of Noongar performers from Western Australia, and the debut of Back to Back Theatre actor Ben Oakes in the role of Fish Lamb, this cast will bring a new political energy to Tim Winton's story, and will be the most ambitious design Malthouse Theatre has ever embarked upon.

The Cloudstreet Giving Circle, led by Maureen Wheeler AO and Tony Wheeler AO, is an exclusive group of supporters who are helping us to realise our ambition for this once-in-a-generation piece of Australian theatre. Each Giving Circle member will have a seat at an exclusive on-stage dinner, hosted by Matthew Lutton with special Cloudstreet guests and a limited edition gift.

If you would like to join the Cloudstreet Giving Circle, please contact Fiona Kelly, Development Manager on
03 9685 5162 or fkelly@malthousetheatre.com.au for further details.
