The Centre for Theatre and Performance presents a Monash meets Malthouse Theatre panel on Picnic at Hanging Rock

To coincide with Malthouse Theatre’s new adaptation of Joan Lindsay’s iconic Picnic at Hanging Rock, Monash University's Centre for Theatre and Performance will present a panel discussion on the novel’s enduring legacy. The panel includes Helen Morse (renowned actor and star of the famous 1975 film), Artistic Director of Malthouse Theatre Matthew Lutton, and from Monash’s Faculty of Arts, Associate Professor Belinda Smaill (expert on Australian film and gender), Terry O'Neill (Joan Lindsay's biographer). The panel will be hosted by CTP’s Director, Associate Professor Jane Montgomery Griffiths.

This is a free event at 5.00pm, Saturday 5 March.
